“War is the most meaningless thing in the universe. East and West are still in trouble. However, our lives should be spent building bridges of friendship. Understanding and loving are much more valuable than all these meaningless fights. We need to try to be friends, to compromise, to make peace. While composing Mozart and Mevlana, I wanted to tell this by bringing together these two values of the East and West. Because Mozart’s music is the music of humanity. Likewise, Mevlana’s words unite people regardless of their religion or belief.”
